_Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a__Vice President, Wealth Management Technology in Jersey City, NJ_
Responsible for coding, documenting, and testing of various software applications in the Clearing Core Technology Group. Complete tasks including new feature work, improve existing code, documentation, testing, and overall support of the product. Develop software solutions to meet business needs. Work on different software development life cycle phases and serve as a technology resource. Create technical documentation for software including design documents and handbooks. Participate in code and design reviews. Assist with developing automated test cases and test plans for software.
_Salary_:
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $169,300.00 and $200,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
_Requirements_:
Requires a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Engineer, Development Engineer, or a closely related occupation in the technology field.
Requires five (5) years of experience with:JAVA Development (Versions 8 or higher).
Requires three (3) years of experience with:Data Structures, Data Modeling and Software
Architecture; Database Environments including NonStop SQL, and Couchbase, UNIX shell scripting non-GUI environments (command line).
Requires two (2) years of experience with:AWS cloud; and Windows 10 .
Requires one (1) year of experience with:Mongo DB; MacOS 10 ; and Kafka;
