We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software/Database Developer to join our team! As a software/database developer, you will be responsible for design, development, testing, and maintaining data, databases, software components, integrations to help driving enterprise technology products
Location: New York City, Jersey City or Lebanon,NJ
Hybrid: Work from home except for only 3 days per quarter required onsiteand open to other locations as well
Role Summary:
Managing the complete software development lifecycle process from conception to deployment
Agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
Develop and support data, database, software components and data integrations
Manage application data, reporting/analytics
Collaborating with a team of developers and product managers
Primary Responsibilities
Gather requirements from clients and build technical design and architecture
Design, develop and support database, integrations and ETL operations
Monitor back-end jobs, data flows and data integrity
Oversee Upstream and Downstream integrations
Partner with other technical teams on integrations requirements and development
Working closely with our offshore and nearshore development teams
Participate in technical design, data security and architecture reviews
Execute work in align with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Troubleshoot production issues and end use support
Requirements & Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
3+ years of experience as a Software/Database Developer
Proficient in relational database/SQL, stored procedures (preferably Oracle)
Experience in ETL, data integrations, and reporting/analytic tools
Experience in any programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C, C\#
Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, SFTP
knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Mart design concepts
Knowledge of web technologies HTML, RestAPIs, JSON, XML
Knowledge of any Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
