Senior Solutions Architect

The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include application development and management, enterprise architecture, and technology risk and compliance.
How you will create an impact
The Solution Architect will work collaboratively with Business and delivery teams to provide detailed technical design knowledge, recommendations on patterns/best practices and implementation decisions. The architect will author solution & technical design documents and provide technical leadership to implementation teams.
Defining the solution architecture for projects across several business domains through understanding functional, non-functional requirements and Business strategy.
Driving alignment and consistency of the solution design by working with the regional and global architecture teams.
Owning and governing the solution design through the entire project implementation phase including guiding and mentoring the team.
Producing all architecture related artifacts required as part of the SDLC.
Effectively communicating the architecture to business and IT partners.
Working with Project Managers, Scrum Masters and Business Analysts to contribute to high level project schedules, resource plans for the project, and project costs.
Supporting multiple concurrent project implementations where applicable.
Engaging with in-country systems teams as necessary
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be experienced with solutioning, estimating, best practices, implementation patterns & conformance reviews
Approximately 25% travel expected

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $123,000-$163,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
