Multiple Positions Available Builds scalable and innovative technical solutions in an Agile environment using Oracle PLSQL, data analysis, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools -- Informatica. Analyzes data, conducts impact assessment, and proposes software solutions using Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD). Writes clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code using tools such as Java. Develops maintainable, extensible, reusable, and performant PLSQL solutions. Builds and deploys automated pipelines leveraging Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities:·Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.·Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.·Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.·Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.·Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.·Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.·Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.·Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.·Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.·Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: No degree and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/ Developer (or closely related occupation) writing clean, testable, reusable, and performance efficient code to handle a large volume of data using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and ETL tools (Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Informatica) in a financial and insurance domain. Or, alternatively, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) writing clean, testable, reusable, and performance efficient code to handle a large volume of data using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and ETL tools (Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Informatica) in a financial and insurance domain. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) writing clean, testable, reusable, and performance efficient code to handle a large volume of data using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and ETL tools (Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) and Informatica ) in a financial and insurance domain.Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: ·Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing enterprise database applications using database technologies - Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, and Application Express (APEX); UNIX Shell Scripts, and Autosys.·DE automating test cases for Oracle PL/SQL components using Oracle utPLSQL testing framework executed through Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines; and analyzing data by querying Oracle and Snowflake databases, using SQL and PL/SQL.·DE improving SQL queries and PL/SQL code performance using SQL Execution Plans, Oracle Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).·DE developing database and ETL applications using Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB), and Informatica; and performing CI/CD pipeline Jenkins and uDeploy.
