RESPONSIBILITIES
As a remoteCall Center Sales Consultant, you answer incoming calls, chats and emails, and sell swim school memberships over the phone. Only by doing so, you help us fulfill our mission of keeping children safe.
We provide qualified leads, no cold calling! Calls are predominantly inbound by interested parents answering our ads - with outbound calls only to leads who request a call back or leave a voicemail.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong sales drive with an attitude of closing and resolving objections, ideally having received Consultative Sales training before
Ability to communicate in English along with Spanish or Portuguese as a second language (written and spoken)
A result-driven personality
Availability to work on weekends (8am-4pm)
Lots of energy and a positive attitude with an upbeat personality
A clear and friendly telephone voice
Being computer and internet savvy - knowledge of Google Drive, esp Google Sheets highly recommended
Comfortable at working in a fast paced environment
Able to learn our in-house systems (Jackrabbit, Freshdesk)
Keen eye for detail
Comfortable with basic math (e.g. for calculating a student's prorated tuition based on our tuition tables)
High speed reliable internet connection
Reliable working computer (laptop or desktop with sound and video capabilities/Video conference)
High school degree or higher
At least 1 year of experience working remotely
At least 3 year of experience working in Sales
REMOTE SCHEDULE
Call Center Hours are 9am-7pm
30-40 hours per week, 4-5 shifts. One shift must be on a weekend. combination of week days and weekends, 3 or 4 days a week
weekdays amplitude 9am/7pm (open to public 10-6) and weekend amplitude 9am /3pm (open to public 10-2)
all shift varies within those hours and will include a weekend day
COMPENSATION AND REWARDS
Pay: $17.00 per hour

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
