Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Work on fixes to maintain and improve the efficiency of the platform, as well as expanding the functionality and scalability of the platform to meet new requirements and supervision of releases
- Manage the Implementation of various functionalities in a distributed, high volume, low-latency, multi-threaded event processing platform using core Java technologies in a Linux environment and Agile setting
- Be involved with all aspects of the development lifecycle and provide third line Production support
- Work collaboratively and be enthusiastic to improve platform
Requirements:
- Agile tools (Jira)
- Demonstrate experience of or a willingness to be in a multi-faceted role that covers project management of development, testing, support analysis, release co-ordination
Desired skills:
- Demonstrate experience of or a willingness to learn fault tolerance systems, TIBCO RV / EMS, JMS, AMPS, Apache Kafka, front-end tools like Java AWT, Google webtool kit
Pay Range: $55.15 - $63.15
