JPMorgan Chase Product Delivery Associate - New Payment Networks & Rails in Jersey City, New Jersey

The New Payment Networks & Rails team is seeking a Product Delivery Associate to support end-to-end product delivery and cross-firm engagement.

As a Product Delivery Associate within the New Payment Networks & Rails team, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end product delivery, as well as managing both internal and external engagements. Your role will encompass a wide range of priorities, including Real-Time Payments, FedNow, Request for Payment, and additional services such as fraud and risk services. Partnering with leadership, your primary objective will be to facilitate simple, safe and secure money movement. Job responsibilities

  • Ensures business, operational and change readiness by working with functional partners to vet that processes and capabilities are in place and coordinated

  • Assess and help manage intake, key dependencies, risks and issues across Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)

  • Ensure quality via functional, integration and user acceptance testing and coordination across teams and APGs in the product, when needed

  • Manage completion of Regulatory, Risk, Controls and Compliance assessments and requirements in collaboration with Product Management

  • Ensure pre & post release activities are completed (i.e., production validations, Beta/UAT testing, reviewing and accepting open test scripts / defects, etc.)

  • Change status of Epics and Stories in Jira to progress work along Product Development Life Cycle

  • Support Product Owner(s) in other capacities including any ad-hoc items

  • Manage JIRA process and accompanying Confluence/SharePoint documentation

  • Collaborate with the execution teams to ensure alignment of product roadmap and priorities to the overall cross-rail strategy and vision for scale and repeatability

  • Support day-to-day engagement with internal and external stakeholders; work with cross-functional partners to strengthen product controls, compliance, and risk environment

  • Manage key relationships and communications with stakeholders, including risk, compliance, finance, legal, controls, operations, marketing, designers, research, etc.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and/or hands-on product management/ownership or business analysis experience, technology consulting, or relevant transferrable skills

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way: \"tell a story\"

  • Self-starter; effectively solve problems and share ideas for improvement with clear prioritization

  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills across business and technology; ability to create high-impact executive decks for senior leadership

  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision with an attention to detail

  • Ability to independently manage multiple dependencies, get commitments and handle escalations.

  • Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients and customers.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Agile project management experience, including use of agile project management tools (i.e. Confluence, JIRA, Git, etc.).

  • Financial services, retail banking, payments background
