The anticipated salary range for this role is between $62,000.00 and $93,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Description

SMBC Capital Markets, Inc. is a market maker for swaps, including interest rate, currency and commodity swaps and related derivative products, headquartered in New York as a wholly owned subsidiary of SMBC. SMBC Capital Markets, Inc. was provisionally registered as a swap dealer with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on December 31, 2012. Our business works in close collaboration with SMBC Nikko Capital Markets, Capital Markets Limited in the UK, and SMBC Capital Markets Asia, Ltd in Hong Kong to provide global coverage to SMBC’s corporate, institutional, and project clients. Capital Markets maintains its own middle and back-office functions, including Risk Management, Compliance, Systems, Finance, and Operations.

Role Objectives

• IAM & Application Support Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that firm’s Identity & Access Governance platform and identity strategy is in line with Americas Division identity strategy.

• This role will sit under IAM Team Lead under the Cyber Security & Information Risk Team and provide day to day support for various business and security applications, including Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, provisioning and de-provisioning access, detailed process documentation and re-certifications of access reviews on periodic basis.

• The role also focuses defining and documenting requirements for onboarding and integrating new and existing applications on to IGA platform under the guidance of IAM Team Lead.

• Candidate must be well versed with Identity and access management principles as this candidate will have the responsibility to enhance the processes for the firm.

• Reports to Head of Cyber Security of Capital Markets with reporting lines into the regional CISO of Americas Division as well Capital Markets’ CIO.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of experience working in Identity and Access Management/Access Governance domains.

• Experience supporting Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes and Level 1 support for business applications. The candidate must have good understanding of all Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes at an enterprise level, including provisioning and de-provisioning access to critical business and technology applications

• Experience with provisioning and de-provisioning of access

• Familiarity with Saviynt Identity & Access Governance suite of products, Azure Single SignOn/Azure Active Directory, AWS SSO.

• 1+ year of experience with Python or any other OO programming languages to perform integration work between IAG platform and third party or internally developed applications. SQL knowledge a plus.

• Must be familiar with access recertification processes as he/she will be required to do periodic access recertifications for business application using an Identity and Access Governance Platform. (Training will be provided)

• Good understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and concepts related to Federation/Single Sign On

• Experience with Azure AD and onboarding applications using SAML/OpenID/OAuth is a huge plus

• Basic to intermediate scripting knowledge is a plus in any of the programming languages. Python and/or Java scripting is a plus

• Familiarity with SQL queries

• Detailed processes documentation skills are required

• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence is a plus
