As a Product Associate in Embedded Banking and Payments, you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. Working closely with the product management team and cross-functional partners, you contribute your skills and insights to help ensure the success of our product offerings. Job responsibilities

• Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap

• Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making

• Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals

• Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches

• Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value

• Engages with Technology at the feature team level to refine requirements and drive delivery

• Engages with Operations to develop processes and drive requirements to scale the solution

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, risk, controls) to ensure compliance with both JPMC policy and regulatory commitments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area

• Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle

• Exposure to product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition

• Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy

• Strong communication/presentation skills (i.e. creating content) that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences

• Operate with minimal guidance and oversight, capable of embracing ambiguity

• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed program delivery structure

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Quick learner who is able to work well with Technology and Operations partners

• Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit

• Ability to rapidly understand emerging technologies and business models / naturally see commercial opportunities

• Resourcefulness to filter a large number of opportunities into the most impactful engagements

• Knowledge of emerging financial services technologies with a key emphasis on APIs, private labeling, SaaS models, and design thinking practices

• Understanding of the global payments industry

• Undergraduate degree

Jersey City,NJ $76,000.00 - $115,000.00 / year
