Actalent Clinical Compliance Manager in Jersey City, New Jersey

CLINICAL COMPLIANCE MANAGER

  • Assist with the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and delegation requirements in a legal and ethical manner.

  • Work collaboratively across the organization to create a culture of compliance awareness by identifying risks and gaps and building training modules around best practices.

*Understanding of the Sunshine Act**

• Assist with the development, improvement, and implementation of Compliance Program consistent with the seven elements of an effective compliance program outlined by Office of Inspector General Compliance Guidance for Pharmaceutical companies, PhRMA Code, Federal Sentencing Guidelines and other applicable US compliance standards.

• Help continuously evaluate the efficiency of control systems to detect and prevent violations of law, regulation, legal/compliance guidelines and internal policies.

• Draft and revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify potential risks or non-conformity issues within internal operations.

• Draft, modify and implement company policies and procedures. Maintain corporate policies and procedures through continuous monitoring of operational effectiveness, assessment and redesign or enhancement as needed.

• Manage federal and state transparency data collection and reporting obligations and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Conduct virtual and live compliance training to internal colleagues and external vendors.

• Assist with the e-learning system.

• Perform internal compliance audits to identify key areas of risk and non-compliance.

• Conduct Fair Market Value analysis and debarment/exclusion checks (HCP consulting, HCP Meal limits and travel reimbursement etc.).

• Conduct field-based monitoring activities at live and virtual events/programs (including Advisory boards, Speaker Programs, Congresses, Conventions).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree required Minimally, a BA/BS degree is required.

  • Juris Doctorate degree is preferred

  • Compliance certifications are an added plus.
