JPMorgan Chase CIB - Product Innovation Control - Associate in Jersey City, New Jersey

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols.

  • Participate in a range of strategic and tactical initiatives that support business execution.

  • Facilitate business development opportunities such as new markets, new product rollout, new deals, issue resolution, cross functional productivity

  • Develop relationships with other LOBs, controllers, infrastructure/support group heads, and JPM business partners

  • Support the team on business issues and new business initiatives

  • Use metrics to identity key themes and insights, including ability to source relevant datasets, determine critical components and build appropriate models.

  • Prepare materials for use in governance forums, as necessary.

Qualifications:

Leadership

  • Program Management experience, ideally coupled with Payments business knowledge.

  • Execute quantitative analyses to identity key themes and insights, including ability to source relevant datasets, determine critical components and build appropriate models / outputs

  • Develop executive level presentations in order to convey key points

Effective Communicator

  • Excellent organizational management skills, including expertise in issue and conflict resolution.

  • Attention to detail and ability to assimilate fragmented facts into detailed statements.

  • Assimilates broad-ranging information quickly and able to distil into key points.

  • Able to establish rapport with senior colleagues.

  • Confident communicator with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal and written updates for all levels of the organization.

  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams.

Delivery Focus

  • Professional, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a proven track record of execution against deliverables.

  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures.

  • Excellent business judgment, particularly to ensure that all considerations of the new product risk assessments have been followed.

  • Excellent program management skills and the ability to identify structure, process and accountability is essential.

  • Detail oriented, with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control.

  • Self-starter, proactive in taking initiative to improve business processes.

  • Effective change management and transformation experience. Ability to connect with teams to influence current state mindset, help them adapt to a changing environment.
