Mizuho Corporate Bank Cash Management- Back Office in Jersey City, New Jersey

SUMMARY:

Support and approves MGeB, Test Key and other payment request transactions for Corporate customers for Mizuho Bank New York and Mizuho Bank Canada. Provide superior customer service to Sweep and Pooling customer, maintaining excellent relationship with corporate clients & internal departments while providing guidance to staff.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Duties

  • Authorize and release of same day foreign exchange deals on MIPS

  • Authorize and release same day cash FX transactions

  • Authorize and release payments on WebRP up to the established and approved limit amount

  • Authorize and release payment processing in GBase for Canada Branch

  • Approve transaction related to Remittance Module in GBase for Canada Branch

  • Approval of outgoing E-mails prepared by Staff

  • Assist Staff with client concerns

  • Complete and circulate daily and monthly reports for Management approval

  • Completes daily and monthly TARS

  • Maintain PTO schedule to ensure proper coverage

Exception Duties

  • Assist Section Head in investigations and others as necessary.

  • Assist in workflow and procedures

  • Provide feedback for staff annual reviews

Compliance

  • Obtain a basic understanding of the applicable rules and regulations that govern the Bank. Understand that all questions and/or clarification about such rules and regulations should be directed to the Americas Legal and Compliance Division. Attend Annual Compliance Training presented by the Americas Legal and Compliance Division. Read and respond as necessary to all compliance-related reference and directive materials received. Comply with the Bank’s “Code of Conduct”.

  • Designated as person responsible for reporting potentially prohibited transaction(s) (OFAC-related) upon detection.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business.

  • 7 to 8 years of banking experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to communicate effectively at all banking levels

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in both Word and Excel.

  • Problem solver

    The expected base salary ranges from $75,000 - $95,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
