JPMorgan Chase Business Resiliency Regulatory Change Management - Associate in Jersey City, New Jersey

Key Responsibilities for Associate in the FBRT Regulatory Reforms Group:

  • Support the day to day review of regulatory changes and reform initiatives which impact Business Resiliency including:

  • Performing global regulatory intelligence in partnership with regulatory change functions to identify and assess upcoming resiliency regulatory changes

  • Review and assess regulatory reforms against firmwide program logging changes in regulatory reforms tracker and prioritizing based on potential impact

  • Support resiliency regulatory oversight program in review of LOB/CF specific reforms

  • Engagement with required Legal and Compliance Resiliency Policy partners

  • Ownership of internal legal obligation repository tool updates and maintenance

  • Review and management of regulatory event notices and existing legal obligations tagged to FBRT

  • Partner with, and where appropriate provide guidance to, the LOB and CF Resiliency teams on mapping legal obligations and alignment to internal policy, standards and/or program items.

  • Reporting/Review of Legal Obligations by country/Legal Entity in support of Resiliency Legal Entity Framework

  • FBRT Program Management Support

  • Support FBR program management operating model development initiatives


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree

  • Experience working in the financial industry

  • Previous experience in related Control or Regulatory function; familiarity with the Risk Management, Legal and Compliance organization

  • Strategic thinker - be able to discern themes from multiple sources of information to help shape strategic direction of the team

  • Stakeholder management - ability to gain consensus among key stakeholders

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; with an ability to make decisions, drive results and prioritize multiple tasks to meet overall objectives

  • Sound judgment and professional maturity to proactively outline and solve problems

  • Effective project management skills, with the ability drive tasks to completion via effective tracking and monitoring
