Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, LLC seeks an Assistant Vice President, Data Analyticsin Jersey City, NJ
Create a comprehensive and consistent reporting and visualization suite for cross-sell campaigns performance. Develop insights, measurement capabilities, and KPIs to enable regular executive updates and benchmark creation. Partner with the data science team to provide predictive targeting capabilities (response models, product propensity models, Lifetime Value prediction) to enable and inform cross-sell strategy. Partner with data strategy and infrastructure leads to drive continuous improvement in processes and platforms, enabling continuous focus on driving strategy through analytics. Partner with marketing and digital product to ensure we provide consistent, measurable customer experience across channels.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $145,000 and $145,000per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering, Data Science, or a related field of study and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Manager, Trainee Decision Scientist, or a closely related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience with: SQL, Python, R, SAS; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Access, and VBA; Tableau, and PowerBI; Hadoop, Hive, and Microsoft SQL Server; Statistical and Analytics Techniques including Regression, Clustering, Time Series Forecasting, Significance Testing, A/B testing and measurement, and Segmentation.
