US Tech Solutions, Inc. Marketing Communications Specialist in Jersey City, Michigan
Duration: 6 months contract
Job Description:
· The Corporate Communications team (technical communications, brand, public relations, social media, web, and advertising) reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.
· Looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to help create content for social media, write and edit blog content and help drive brand awareness campaigns across multiple platforms.
· Team works side-by-side with corporate functions and product marketing groups across the company, leading them to develop effective communications, focused on the value of client's products and brand awareness for a variety of audiences.
Responsibilities:
· Drafting social media posts in support of campaigns.
· Developing social media strategies.
· Writing, reviewing, and editing papers, articles or blogs, product literature and product brochures.
· Developing copy and graphical content for web banners, posters and similar.
· Creating scripts for product or company promotional videos.
· Collaborating on visually powerful slides that convey our brand or product and solution messages simply and cleanly for a variety of external audiences.
· Participating in activities and events to promote client's branding in Michigan.
Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably within the semiconductor or technology industry.
· Proficient writer of articles and blogs or other types of written form.
· Experience with social media, video, and other kinds of visual media.
· Knowledge of social media management, including analytics and optimization.
· Skilled at interviewing and crafting messages for a variety of audiences.
· Quick learner, with a blend of creativity and technical insight.
· Semiconductor industry knowledge is helpful, but not required.
Skills:
· Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
· Enjoys writing and editing articles or blogs and marketing collateral.
· Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
· Organized and skilled at managing multiple concurrent projects to deadline.
· Team-oriented, self-motivated.
· Detail-oriented.
Education:
· Bachelor's level degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or similar field with a passion for technology.
