Robert Half Leasing Administrator in Jericho, New York

Description

We are in search of an Administrative Assistant in Jericho, New York. The successful candidate will play an integral role in our leasing administration team, providing essential support to all administrative aspects of the leasing process. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the real estate and leasing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and process lease agreements, renewals, amendments, and terminations in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Maintain and update tenant records and lease files in the property management system.

• Ensure that all lease documentation is accurate, complete, and properly executed.

• Serve as a point of contact for tenants' inquiries regarding leases, rental payments, and maintenance requests.

• Provide information to prospective tenants about property availability, leasing terms, and conditions.

• Assist the leasing team with scheduling property tours and managing leasing documents.

• Prepare and maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all leasing-related paperwork.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly leasing reports for management review.

• Collaborate with property managers and maintenance teams to ensure smooth move-in and move-out processes.

• Track lease expirations and coordinate lease renewals with tenants and property managers.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of security deposits, lease payments, and other financial transactions related to leases.

• Use Microsoft Office Suite to manage schedules, correspond via email, and handle data entry tasks.

• Utilize skills in real estate and leasing, administrative assistance, and commercial property management.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to address customer queries effectively.

• Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills.

• Excellent email correspondence abilities, ensuring clear and effective communication.

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently.

• Experience in real estate leasing and commercial property management.

• Proven track record in providing administrative assistance.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
