The Team and Job Summary

As a highly valued member of the HR team, the Global Payroll Manager will oversee and manage the global payroll as well as a globally distributed team. You will lead the development and implementation of payroll policies, procedures, and systems to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage the payroll function across multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems, processes, and controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of payroll data.

  • Administer RFPs and a migration to a global payroll platform.

  • Provide exceptional service to integrating M&A team members

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external payroll vendors and service providers.

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to ensure compliance with global payroll policies and procedures.

  • Provide guidance and support to local payroll teams and ensure consistency across all global payroll operations.

  • Monitor and analyze payroll metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Research and propose resolution of any data conflicts that impact payroll processing.

  • Stay current on global payroll trends and regulatory changes and make recommendations for process improvements and updates.

  • Exercise project management skills by conducting multiple projects in compressed timelines while maintaining quality.

    Required Qualifications

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in senior Human Resource roles in a multinational environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years of payroll experience in both US and foreign jurisdictions including implementing processes in multiple jurisdictions (U.S., EMEA, APAC, LATAM, Canada).

  • Thorough knowledge of global payroll tax laws and regulations.

  • Leads and influences through collaboration.

  • Strong strategic thinking, able to develop and communicate a compelling vision and direction.

  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization to solve problems and implement solutions.

  • Sense of urgency and confidentiality.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional services industry experience preferred.

  • Master’s degree in human resources management, business, or finance is preferred.

    A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
