Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Jeffersonville, Indiana

Description

We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in the greater Louisville, KY area. This role is centered around providing top-notch customer support, handling technical issues, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. Our ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, able to work collaboratively with other teams, and have a strong understanding of various IT systems and software. This role requires the employee be on-site 4 days/week.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers requiring support, using our ticketing system to record, delegate, and track issues or requests.

• Handle incoming ticket channels and manage service requests and incidents reported by customers. This includes categorizing, assigning, escalating, and closing tickets to optimize problem-solving.

• Deliver technical support to customers, ensuring a prompt and efficient resolution of hardware and software issues.

• Support IT across all our sites and brands.

• Guide customers through step-by-step instructions to diagnose and resolve technical problems.

• Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or developers to ensure proper resolution.

• Document customer interactions and solutions for future reference.

• Administer and optimize the company's IT infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT projects, system upgrades, and enhancements.

• Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field

• Proven knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

• Proficiency in computer hardware and configuration management

• Demonstrable experience in software and hardware deployments

• Familiarity with Intune and MS Office 365 is required

• Experience with virtualization technologies

• Must have an understanding of DHCP DNS

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
