AIG Head of Data Analysis and Deal Management (Warranty) in Jeffersonville, Indiana

Head of Data Analysis and Deal Management is responsible for all deal creation activities. This includes responsibility for the detailed understanding of the value proposition of US Warranty in the context of the market, the detailed buildup of all financial component of each deal, the operational functions required to support each deal, and the strategic rationale for each potential partnership in line with US Warranty’s key strategies.

This person will be responsible for building financial deal sheets to assess economics for the underwriting referral processes, along with coordinating and evaluating the various operational functions needed for each deal’s success. This role will support progress on negotiations and prioritize those with the greatest potential. This role will also drive improvements in all sectors of the business that support winning and retaining business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Significant involvement in all new deal support to ensure that new opportunities are clearly understood, well thought out, and can be executed on by the various departments including customer service, service dispatch, claims, finance, underwriting, and IT.

  • Become the voice of the CEO in the business to drive improvements and efficiencies that improve the competitiveness of US Warranty

  • Provide industry insights and AIG strategic input related to market changes and AIG’s competitiveness

  • Build standard economic models in partnership with Finance and Underwriting to streamline the review/quoting process, and improve the accuracy of new deal economics

  • Ensure that proposed client agreements align with operational process capacity of AIG and that AIG and its clients/partners can execute within the boundaries of the agreements.

  • Work closely with Finance to forecast and plan both sales and cost related financial impacts of new business program(s) to overall AIG profit and loss.

  • Provide input on operational strategy related to the growth and maintenance of existing and new clients.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or other related studies required. CPA or equivalent financial degree required.

  • MBA or other advanced and related degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of financial experience.

  • Building P&L and constructing deals preferred

  • Presentation: Excellent presentation skills with a strong customer focus.

  • Communication: Develop rapport with Internal stakeholders and industry leaders.

  • Financials: Understanding of financials, profitability, and pricing.

  • Execution: Ability to develop, implement and provide oversight to processes that provide positive results.

  • Warranty operational experience preferred.

  • Experience in the insurance industry.

  • Required travel up to 25%
