SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic and experienced candidate to lead our production quality team. As the Quality Manager, you will be reporting to the Plant Manager and will lead implementation of quality systems, maintaining ISO/IATF certifications and compliance, and overall quality control within the manufacturing facility.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Responsible for all internal plant quality operations, budgets, and personnel

  • Develop close working relationships with the plant Operations Leadership Teams

  • Develop high performing employee led teams

  • Engage and connect with all plant employees

  • Develop a strong sense of purpose within all plant quality personnel

  • Work collaboratively within Oshkosh Manufacturing facility to share and identify/implement best practices

  • Serve as the plant management representative responsible for the voice of quality and adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Business, Operations Management, or related field

  • 5-7 plus years of related work experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with welding and fabrication and heavy vehicle manufacturing

  • Advanced training/experience in the use of statistical techniques including CP/CPK

  • Experience in policy writing

  • Experience working with MiniTab and Splunk

  • Knowledgeable in Problem Solving Methods

  • Knowledgeable in DFMEA/PFD/PFMEA/CPLAN

  • Knowledgeable in six sigma principles
