As a Proposal Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our U.S. Federal and SLED Sales teams, tackling exciting proposal opportunities. Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver a compliant customer response to RFQs and ITBs within the defined timeframe
Support qualification and information requests, as assigned, including basic company information, proposal forms, resumes, or project information.
Supports Iron Mountain’s unsolicited proposal process including document preparation and opportunity submission into company contract management system
Provides assistance to the Sales Team to obtain verification of customer requirements from technical experts
Work with Sales Team to enter opportunities into contract management system within 24 hours of receipt of request form
Coordinates resource availability with the Proposal Team’s Manager and captures assignments into proposal tracking tools
Facilitate access to proposal areas, collaboration sites/tools, and proposal content libraries
Maintain database of customer portal log-in information and proposal tracking resources
Supports maintenance of core proposal resources
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of related experience
Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, Adobe Professional, and preferred experience with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Superior organizational skills, with special attention to detail, and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Familiarity of industry proposal best practices in government contracting (i.e. Shipley or APMP)
Working understanding of the government acquisition process and regulations
Working knowledge of Responsive (formerly RFPIO) database or similar proposal automation software
Ability to work independently
