Facebook PhD Technical Sourcer in Jefferson City, Missouri

We are looking for someone to leverage our platform and products and to partner with the broader University Recruitment team to help us develop a stronger and more diverse pipeline that represents our global users. Required Skills:

  1. Work closely with Recruiters and Researchers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function, and how it fits into the organization

  2. Strategize different ways to build PhD talent pipelines and execute on referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns

  3. Map the PhD talent space through tactical research, the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques

  4. Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders

  5. Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas

  6. Ability to travel during peak recruiting cycles

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers

  2. 2+ years experience of sourcing experience, including deep-diving into searches using Boolean logic

  3. Experience building working relationships with cross-functional partners

  4. Experience partnering with team and clients, including senior management

  5. Experience in identifying and successfully engaging competitive candidates

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors Degree or higher

  2. 2+ years experience recruiting in technical organizations

  3. Experience recruiting PhD and/or research candidates

  4. Tech and industry knowledge with experience understanding tech skills, research conferences, academic labs, and communities

  5. Strong attention to detail

  6. Proven success managing multiple recruiting goals and projects
