What You Will Do :

• Prepare Internal Control assessments, test plans, document, and brief test results

• Prepare remediation and implementation plans for identified weaknesses/vulnerabilities

• Develop and implement all phases of internal control testing for financial business processes, development of risk assessments, test plans, test of design, and test of operating effectiveness

• Develop, review, and update new or existing business process cycle memorandums

• Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of data and reports used to support financial reporting functions and key controls to determine data reliability

• Support a team for multiple business process reviews, provide technical knowledge of tasks to be completed, review staff deliverables, and effectively manage to project plan due dates

What You Will Need :

• Minimum of three (3) years of financial management and accounting experience to include, financial statement or internal control audit experience, in depth accounting/financial statement preparation, compliance assessments and internal controls, audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

• Ability to obtain a background a Public Trust

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Possesses advanced degrees and/or industry certifications (CGFM, etc.)

The annual salary range for this position is $77,500.00-$155,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
