Parsons Corporation Senior Manager - MEP (Plumbing) -Opera House Theater Project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - MEP (Plumbing) with over 20 years of experience in buildings and utilities to join our team for an exciting Large Scale Opera House Project. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and expertise in plumbing design and construction, ensuring the successful implementation of plumbing systems within the project.

“What You’ll Be Doing”

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in plumbing design, installation, and maintenance throughout all stages of the opera house project.

  • Oversee all plumbing-related aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems.

  • Ensure that all plumbing systems meet relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards and stay updated on new developments and regulations in plumbing technology and practices.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and performance in plumbing installations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues promptly.

  • Identify potential risks and challenges related to plumbing systems and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project timeline and budget.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate plumbing systems seamlessly into the overall design and construction of the opera house.

  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and regulatory authorities, providing updates on plumbing progress, challenges, and solutions.

“What Required Skills You’ll Bring”

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in plumbing design, installation, and management, with a proven track record of success in large-scale construction projects.

  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, codes, and regulations.

  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.

  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues effectively.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and plumbing design software.
