Pathway Inc Behavioral Health Therapist in Jasper, Alabama
Under the supervision of the Clinical supervisor, a therapist is responsible for working with clients to help identify, examine, and rate mental health and emotional issues or disorders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage caseload and documentation.
- Assess client's needs.
- Design treatment plans.
- Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
- Monitor client's progress.
- Implement case management techniques.
- Prepare treatment reports and make referrals.
- Counsel individuals, groups, or families to help them understand problems and develop treatment plans.
- Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders.
Position Requirements:
- Master's degree in counseling and psychology or a related field.
- Ability to make social perception and good judgment, to resolve complex problems, and to possess excellent decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Competent computer skills.
Job Details:
- Full-time
- $40K - $55K per year
