Job Title: Warehouse Production Associate

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Production Associate, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing and dispatch of our precision stainless and specialty alloy tubing products. This is a high-volume position ideal for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly impact the operations of our mills.

Responsibilities

• Run ID/OD polishers

• Perform 'Air Underwater Hydro Testing'

• Operate (or be willing to learn) forklifts

• Print customer orders by scheduled on time and date

• Pick customer orders

• Pack shipments per customer requirements

• Label customer packages

• Stage and consolidate customer shipments when applicable

• Perform finished goods inventory cycle counts

• Replenish inventory in storage racks

• Assist shipment loaders

• Become forklift certified and operate forklift in a safe and effective manner

Essential Skills

• General labor

• Warehouse production

• Order picking

• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience

• Forklift operation

• RF scanner usage

• Material handling

• Sit down forklift experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift operating certification

• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Additionally, we offer shift premiums: $2 for B shift, $6 for C shift, and $8 for D shift.

Work Environment

Our facility operates across four shifts with roughly 100 employees. The shifts are as follows: 'A' shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 'B' shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (currently not working Mondays), 'C' shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and 'D' shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. We offer a safe and friendly workplace, and the shop is non-union. Shift premiums apply after training, which lasts 2-6 months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
