What You'll Be Doing

• Estimating and bidding construction projects for the NY Construction market

• Set up schedules, purchase orders, subcontracts, and contract documents for project execution

• Monitor budget and cost reports and research where changes may be appropriate

• Ensure payments to various project vendors and subcontractors

• Verification of final contract quantities with the customer, client, or government agency, particularly the Department of Transportation

• Collaborate with the Environmental and Health & Safety departments to ensure all laws and regulations are met 

What Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or relevant discipline or at least 8 years of on the job work experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Work Environment

• Role operates in a construction environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
