As a Professional Staff Nurse in our inpatient chemical dependency unit, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. You will play a key role in guiding patients and their families through their recovery journey, utilizing your leadership, clinical judgment, and collaborative skills to ensure the best outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based practices to influence patient care plans and improve outcomes.

• Engage in professional development and unit-based governance to support practice environment improvements.

• Collaborate with care teams, adapting to change and supporting colleagues when needed.

• Maintain productive relationships with staff and patients, promoting a positive, culturally aware work environment.

• Apply the nursing process to provide holistic, patient-centered care, using critical thinking to address clinical and psychosocial needs.

• Communicate patient conditions clearly and document comprehensively for care continuity.

• Prior RN experience strongly preferred

• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to assess and meet age-specific patient needs.

• Ability to establish positive, caring relationships with a wide range of healthcare professionals, patients, and families.

• Utilize strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in patient care.

• Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 30 days of hire

• Registered Nurse (RN) OR Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
