Bush Industries Project Management Specialist in Jamestown, New York

FT, Jamestown: Project Management Associate The Marketing Communications Project Management Associate will have key responsibilities in the areas of traffic, tradeshows and budgets, and will participate in the planning and implementation of strategies to achieve key business and marketing objectives. Inform department team members of due dates for the submission of budget items. Act as an advisor in department in formulating budget submissions. Review proposed budget submissions for accuracy and completeness. Ensure submissions align with corporate goals, strategies, and legal regulations. Examine whether budget submissions can be achieved based on known constraints and inform management of potential problem areas. Confirm submissions and subsequent spend are categorized accurately. Develop and maintain financial models and budget tracking sheets. Create Statements of Work, Capex, Rec forms, and Purchase orders. Track corresponding invoices and payments. Provide quarterly forecast status. Track and analyze actual results against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results. Provide timely, accurate reporting and analysis on a scheduled basis. Inform team and managers of the status and availability of funds. Improve financial status by analyzing results, variances, identifying trends and areas of concern. Recommend actions to Director to ensure conformance to budgetary limits and strategy. Reconcile all transactions; partner with finance to ensure accurate accruals and close process. Ad-hoc analyses based on request. Assist the creative team in the planning, production, and execution of all domestic and tradeshows. Assist with invoice processing and budget maintenance Coordinating paperwork. Assist with arranging freight for delivery and pick up to and from show site. Be on site for all tradeshows build outs as scheduling allows; act as point person and project leader when team is unable to attend. Research prospective future tradeshows, present ideas to creative team. Ensure tradeshow calendar is updated regularly with all pertinent info and share with the sales team. Develop timelines Meet all deadlines Desktop publishing Create spreadsheets Create PowerPoint presentations Required Education and Experience: Required to understand and communicate in English Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, business administration or related field Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role Competencies/Skills: Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group. Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership Personable Demeanor Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively. Possesses strong problem-solving and time management skills. Works well with a team but is able to conduct independent research Possesses strong writing skills.
