What You Will Do:

  • You will drive team performance through employee development, goal setting, and coaching.

  • You will assign and manage resource allocation in support of new product development project completion.

  • You will drive efficiency across programs through process evolution, tool and process innovation, and best practices development.

  • Collaborating with organization and business leadership, you will shape and drive a unified vision for the team, fostering employee engagement and empowerment.

  • You will use your decision-making, strategic thinking, and networking skills to accurately forecast resource needs.

  • You will draw on your experience to estimate, track, and communicate effectively for program success.

  • Travel commitment is up to 10% but may flex based on business need.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

  • Software and/or systems engineering experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to build trust and inspire confidence across teams to achieve program and business objectives.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, fostering a shared vision where individuals feel valued and empowered.

  • Proficiency in certifying products to DO-178B/C and ARP4754A/B, ideally at DAL D level or higher.

  • Experience executing projects with Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • Proven track record in leading proposals and projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget effectively.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
