Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

Our Indonesia Sales team is expanding, and we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join us in Jakarta. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our local sales team to identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities. Your efforts will include research, cold calling, and initial qualification of leads, along with coordinating meetings and technical resources. You will also track activities and keep the sales team informed on progress and next steps for emerging opportunities.

Key to success for this role will be your ability to communicate effectively, understand the value of the solutions we offer, and quickly convey this to potential clients. Building a trusted partnership with the sales team to target key accounts and agree on pursuit strategies will be critical.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute outbound calls and other lead-generation strategies.

  • Research assigned target accounts and conduct initial qualification calls.

  • Run multi-channel marketing campaigns (website, social media, email, phone) to drive new business.

  • Generate leads and close deals primarily through phone-based outreach.

  • Collaborate with Siemens’ authorized partners and agencies.

  • Drive lead generation and sales using the LAER approach.

  • Build interest in Siemens DI Software products and services through online and phone interactions.

  • Enhance and profile CRM databases (Eloqua, Salesforce) to identify new opportunities.

  • Systematically follow up on target accounts to turn leads into qualified opportunities and increase the close rate.

  • Work on routine assignments with limited judgment and receive moderate supervision.

Requirements

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, renewal sales, sales development, or direct sales.

  • Demonstrated success in expanding existing accounts and qualifying new business prospects.

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both spoken and written) in a professional context.

  • Persistent and fearless in cold calling new prospects.

  • Proven ability to open doors and build relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Creative in problem-solving and overcoming objections.

  • Strong communication skills, both within teams and with external partners.

  • Well-organized with the ability to handle a large volume of opportunities.

  • Proficient with CRM systems like Salesforce.

  • Skilled at conducting research and translating insights into action.

  • Highly motivated and driven to meet sales targets.
