Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities What to Expect Assists manager in the economic and efficient operation of a Bowling Center consisting of 16 lanes, equipment maintenance and repair, pro shop and facilities. Assists in promoting, scheduling and managing the conduct of tournaments, matches, and other special events, and programs necessary resources for the purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise. Assists in carrying out necessary liaison with other staff officials that support Center activities, Bowling League participation, market products and events, purchase of bowling equipment and accessories, etc. Provides input on the financial status of the assigned activity and recommends changes considered necessary. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud waste and abuse. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance. Performs other related duties as assigned. A minimum of three years experience that demonstrates progressively responsible administrative, professional, and technical work experiences; preferably in a revenue generating activity. Knowledge of bowling equipment, facilities, and programming preferred. Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures preferred. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must be able to successfully complete and maintain a proper food safety/sanitation; alcohol serving training program; and/or ServSafe trainer certification, as applicable. This is required in accordance with the Marine Corps Orders and Naval Preventative Medicine Manual policies and guidance for cleanliness and sanitation standards.
