Young Kids In Motion Academy Teachers and Instructors, All Other in Jacksonville, Florida
POSITION AVAILABLE:Various School Teacher for grades K-12
SCHEDULE:8:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday thru Friday in keeping with academic schedule. Email resume.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:To provide classroom instruction for Elementary School students in a diverse, private PK thru 12th Grade educational environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include: providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds; ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior; prepare and follow class appropriate Lesson Plans. Establish and maintain strong relationships with students and families. Utilize formal and informal assessment data to drive instruction and ensure student mastery of standards. Build a warm and inclusive classroom environment, implementing the practices of Responsive Classroom. Actively participate in grade-level meetings, collaborative planning, and professional development, including an annual summer institute. Accept ultimate responsibility for the academic progress of his or her students, and work actively to overcome setbacks
REQUIREMENTS:Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students' progress, working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success; strong interpersonal and classroom management skills. Moving students progressively to achieve Sunshine State Standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:Applicants must haveoneof the following;
- Bachelor's Degree (4 Years from an accredited university).
- The ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, engaged, and academically challenged
- Enrollment in College-level classes pursuant of teaching degree (more than 3/4 completed).
- A Florida Teaching Certification received, pursued, and/or applied for.
- Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School.
- Relentless drive to set and achieve ambitious goals
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
- All candidates must be able to produce a clear background check with NO arrests.
- Statement of Eligibility can be obtained through the FLDOT
COMPENSATION:Compensation is negotiable between $15- $18/ hr.

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
