SUMMARY:As an Intern in Shipping Sales, you will analyze internal and external data to define target accounts for potential new business. Work alongside Account Executives to provide operational support and drive efficiency/repeatability throughout the sales cycle. Sales reporting and design using Salesforce to create reports and provide information necessary for making key business decisions. Compile best practices and assist in the implementation of a single-source sales platform. Some of your main responsibilities will be: * Data Analysis: Analyzing both internal and external data to identify target accounts for potential new business and supporting our data integrity efforts. * Operational Support: Collaborating with Account Executives to offer operational support and enhance efficiency and repeatability within the sales cycle. * Sales Reporting: Utilizing Salesforce to create reports and provide essential information for key business decision-making within the sales process. * System Adoption: Compiling best practices, processes, and contributing to the implementation of a unified sales platform. Overall, the intern is expected to play a key role in data analysis, operational support, sales reporting, and the implementation of streamlined processes within the sales environment.
