Revlon Sr Director, Operations (JAX) in Jacksonville, Florida

Description

Direct and coordinate activities, processes, people and resources to achieve the goals and objectives of the Jacksonville Manufacturing site. Provide the vision and standard of leadership for the organization to achieve total customer satisfaction, meet or exceed quality criteria, satisfy all financial objectives, and comply with all codes of ethical conduct.

Responsibilities :

  • Establish clear identification of goals and objectives which satisfy customer, senior management and local workforce expectations.

  • Lead the local management team to create focused priorities and provide resources required for success.

  • Establish an organization structure to achieve objectives.

  • Establish local company business model and procedures that are in alignment with corporate objectives

  • Establish hiring criteria, selection of staff, creation of appropriate training vehicles and motivation to retain team members.

  • Establish business metrics to effectively measure, monitor and report progress

  • Develop and execute budgetary and operating plans which form the framework for managing the operations

  • Responsible for overseeing the inventory to minimize cash investment and maximize customer service.

  • Responsible for overseeing the procurement process to insure quality and service at lowest cost.

  • Responsible for all functions in Manufacturing to meet customer requirements and maximize productivity.

  • Enforce and elevate Quality criteria to achieve customer satisfaction and corporate standards.

  • Maintain and elevate the technical and physical resources of the facility. Maximize the utilization of fixed assets and the use of capital investment.

  • Maintain appropriate communication within area of responsibility

  • Provide leadership for proper community relations of the Company within the Jacksonville area.

Knowledge, Skills and Education :

  • BS in Business Management or related degree preferred.

  • 10 years of related industry work experience in beauty/personal care and/or fast-moving CPG companies.

  • Proven leadership skills of multi-functional organization preferably at plant management level where team building can be demonstrated.

  • Technical competency with Engineering and Manufacturing of high-volume consumer goods from personal care, pharmaceutical or food industries.

  • Working knowledge of the principles of materials planning and procurement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications.

  • Working knowledge of financial principles, regulatory affairs, and project management.

  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
