Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant based in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in accounting, reporting, and analysis for our regional operations. You will be tasked with ensuring the prompt and precise preparation of financial data in accordance with applicable accounting guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Work on all aspects of financial closing and report creation for assigned duties, including crafting journal entries and examining and reconciling general ledger accounts

• Collaborate and coordinate with various departments, regional and corporate personnel, as well as external contracts related to assigned legal entities and duties

• Analyze financial reports and records concerning the accounting of reserves, assets, revenue, and expenditures

• Investigate accounting inconsistencies, report any findings, and devise solutions to rectify potential problems

• Perform analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Prepare for and actively participate in internal and external audits

• Contribute to the overall team effort by achieving related results as needed

• Handle special projects and other duties as required. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant or related position.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a prerequisite for this role.

• Familiarity with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential.

• Prior experience with Bank Reconciliations is required.

• A comprehensive understanding of General Ledger management is necessary.

• Demonstrated ability to manage Journal Entries is expected.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required.

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with Oracle financial software is desirable.

• Experience with SAP financial software will be highly valued.
