Permanent Position: Senior Structural Engineer is needed for an engineering, construction, and mechanical services firm in Jacksonville, FL. This is a leadership position, P.E. preferred. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of project experience with industrial, commercial, and federal utilizing steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

• Works regularly with the following building codes: AISC 303, AISC 360, AISC 341, AISC 358, ACI 318, ACI 530, NDS, ASCE 7-05, ASCE 7-10, IBC

• Responsible for all aspects of the Structural Design of Commercial, Process, Defense and Industrial Facilities

• Structural Design Experience includes the use of all materials of construction including Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Wood, Light-Gage-Metal (CFS) and Masonry

• Creates and Manages Design Schedules

• Creates, Edits and Reviews Project Specifications

• Prepares Construction Documents

• Reviews Shop Drawings

• Coordinates with Architects, MEP Engineers, Contractors and Clients

• Manages Project from Concept through Construction Administration

• Supports Business Development efforts
