This position can be based out of any CIT non-Retail Branch offices throughout the United States.
What you'll be doing
Take ownership of Development & Support of multiple internally developed applications including . NET stand-alone programs and customer facing websites.
Responsible for the end user support, maintenance and enhancements of applications owned supported resulting from change requests.
Responsible for ensuring any changes are in accordance with recommended good coding practices including ease of maintenance, error logging, application performance and securing of sensitive information through relevant encryption and other safeguards.
Development lead for projects that impact application owned supported from Requirements gathering and Documentation to Design, to Development, Unit testing, UAT and rollout.
Responsible for regular review of Knowledge Documentation & Disaster Recovery plans for applications owned.
Responsible for periodic Access & Entitlement Reviews for applications owned supported.
What we are looking for
Strong understanding of the latest .NET framework including C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET - 7 to 10 years’ experience in developing front-end and middle-tier applications. required. Any Microsoft certifications would be a plus.
Clear understanding of technologies like MVC, REST Web API, Javascipt, HTML5, Entity Framework.
Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL 2008 2012 (and above), SSIS and SSRS is required.
Must have experience with source control tools like TFS and Git Hub. Service Now experience is preferred.
Hands on experience with Network Protocols using TCP/IP, HTTPS, SOAP, Restful and XML, JSON data formats.
Experienced in working in the Banking and Finance domain with a solid understanding of PII data safeguards and encryption Techniques.
Experience with mortgage origination applications and API integrations with 3rd party applications preferred.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and the ability to create Power Point presentations and Visio diagrams
Must be a good verbal and written communicator and able to work with Business Unit stakeholders to gather requirements and offer alternate solutions.
Must be a good team player and have the initiative to take ownership of projects, enhancements and production support issues and take them up for execution or delegate as necessary.
Must possess strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to provide estimations, risk assessments, draft business requirements, system diagrams and technical design documents and meet deliverables in a timely manner.
