Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a MedTech DEI Sr. Program Manager based in Jacksonville, FL, New Brunswick, NJ or at a J&J MedTech office New Jersey, Pennsylvania or California. The position is eligible to participate in J&J Flex, working days both in the office and remote each week.

The MedTech DEI Sr. Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the implementation of identified DEI initiatives across the sector leveraging business insights to advise and support activation of the enterprise strategy through innovative and cutting-edge thought leadership and solutions. Collaborates with leaders across sectors to identify insights and implement strategies that address the unique needs of the local market and are relevant and meaningful to local employees to help advance DEI across the world.

This position is primarily connected to accelerating our global culture of inclusion where every individual belongs and building a workforce that reflects the diversity of our communities.

Strategy Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for developing project plans, assessing risk, monitoring budgets, setting milestones, and tracking progress to ensure that projects are designed on time, on budget, and within scope.

  • MedTech DEI Council Lead ensuring alignment across all pillars

  • Build the portfolio of initiatives in MedTech inclusive of DEI Councils, Partnerships, Initiatives etc. and identify synergies and best practices for replication.

  • Ensure colleagues are aware of the DEI governance process for review of all DEI materials and initiatives

  • Identify and support creating a culture of continuous improvement around building a workforce of individuals with diverse backgrounds, cultures, abilities and perspectives

  • Identify and work to embed enterprise programs and initiatives into MedTech (Talent for Good, ORTHE, Volunteer efforts etc.)

Operational Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of plans (i.e., alignment of team resources, workstreams, and activities) which are tied to objectives, measures, and timelines, leading to successful completion of projects

  • Prepare monthly DEI data and insights to help drive priorities in tangible ways

  • Provide guidance on partnerships that help create external impact and support continuous positive change

  • Lead the monthly/quarterly DEI council meetings, organize the agenda and communicate meeting outcomes

  • My Health Can’t Wait: Working with the identified representatives from all the MedTech franchises. Provide schedule for upcoming events and secure MedTech participation to work education tables at the events. Monthly meetings are held to facilitate this process.

  • ORTHE: Manage the Business Match Fund process end to end for MedTech projects. Meet with all project leads to ensure project plans and spend is on track; make leads aware of ORTHE quarterly reporting requirements; ensure awareness of mechanics of the ORTHE match process.

  • External DEI engagement: Manage sponsor review, endorsement, financials and updates of external DEI/Health Equity programs across MedTech.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum

  • 8 years of business experience

  • Strong Project Management and Change Management Skills

  • Solid interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with business leaders

  • Experience with global strategy implementation and working with a cross-functional team to drive results

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • PMP or Change Management Certification

  • DEI experience

  • Ability to analyze complex data and tailor it for multiple audiences

  • Ability to quickly build relationships and trust with multiple stakeholders

  • Familiarity with problem-solving and DEI consulting

For candidates based in the United States, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $203,550. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
