Randstad is looking for an experienced electrical maintenance technician to work with a company near Jacksonville Beach. This position will perform electrical maintenance and repairs, plan and participate in electrical preventive maintenance work, schedule projects, and repair work orders. Will work closely with vendors to ensure completion of contracted work across the facilities. 8AM – 5PM Tuesday through Saturday or 7AM - 6PM Excelent benefits

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties following safe electrical work practices. Must be compliant with Lock-Out Tag Out, Confined Space, and Arc Flash programs.

• Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical services in company-owned buildings.

• Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical outlets, lights, etc.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to maintain and repair facilities' electrical infrastructure, distribution equipment, and systems. This includes, but is not limited to, emergency power distribution, automatic and manual transfer switches, variable frequency drives, UPS, electric motors, circuit breakers, switches, lamps and ballasts, LED drivers and modules, and electric door operators.

• Apply analytical and manual skills in inspecting, maintaining, installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and systems.

• Proficient use of electrical and electronic testing equipment and tools i.e., multimeters, meggers, power analyzers, circuit tracers, and insulated hand tools.

• Interface with vendors/contractors to facilitate electrical system repairs or replacements.

• Assist with Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of all other building MEP systems.

• Evaluate and make recommendations on electrical loads and energy savings projects.

• Inspect the buildings and grounds to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions and advise supervisor of needed repairs.

• Responsible for proper functioning and monitoring of the Lutron smart lighting control system.

The essential functions of this role include:
