University of North Florida Assistant Custodial Services Superintendent in Jacksonville, Florida
Nature of Work: This is work supervising employees and designated area of responsibility.
Typical Responsibilities: Supervises relevant employees and maintains designated areas. Maintains and advises supervisor of supply and equipment needs. Reports building maintenance requirements to supervisor. Responds to special cleaning, recycling, or groundskeeping needs. Maintains equipment. May implement special projects. During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
Required Qualifications: A high school diploma and three years experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Assist with the supervision of cleaning buildings om the campus center core. 2, Conduct inspections of respective areas.
- Maintain respective supply inventory.
- Oversees equipment maintenance.
- Administrative duties.
- Personnel matters.
- Supervise cleaning in accordance with theAPPAcleaning standards and the Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
- Special Events.
- Training This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed.
Supplementary responsibilities; a) work orders, b)campus emergencies, c) coordinates work with other trades and departments as necessary.
