What makes a fantastic Sr. Sales Executive - FRMS?

In this quota-carrying sales position, you will be responsible for driving efforts to expand and grow Fiserv market share and presence in the industry through execution of business, value-driven solution sales activities with existing and prospective clients. You will target potential leads and pursuits; plans and selects most appropriate sales strategies and approaches to gain entry into clients in assigned territory. Through our business solution and your financial knowledge, you will make compelling presentations of Fiserv solutions across Financial Accounting Suite (accounting, budgeting, risk, asset liability management, profitability and Automated Reconciliation specifically) to effectively persuade and frame client opportunities. These solutions are: Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) - Prologue, Vantage, Axiom Financial Control Solutions (FCS) - Frontier.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Generate leads and drive sales bookings for FRMS products and services to financial institutions within designated territory or within accounts as assigned by manager

  • Formulate strategies, tactics and account plans necessary to develop the leads and sales opportunities in order to attain sales quota

  • Manage the movement of leads through the sales process effectively and efficiently including qualification, assessment of client needs, presentation of Fiserv solutions, establishing a value proposition and organized plan for closing

  • Have strong working knowledge of the assigned FRMS products and services and be able to present the value of said solutions to the appropriate audiences

Qualifications for consideration:

  • 7+ years’ experience in the financial services industry

  • 5+ years’ experience in a consultative sales role at (preferably) a major enterprise software vendor

  • Proven track record of successful quota attainment

  • Proven selling and negotiating techniques

  • A proven track record of successful sales to the financial institutions market or related industry

  • Knowledge of financial institution accounting areas including but not limited to general ledger, budgeting, profitability and reconciliations

  • Familiarity with regulations surrounding the financial services industry

  • Proven solution selling skills that will allow the effective and efficient execution of the Fiserv Way of Selling that is instrumental in the buying process/sales cycle

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Possess excellent written, oral, presentation and follow up skills.

  • Knowledge of FRMS products
