This role is responsible for providing customer support for e-Mobility products and working closely with the broader Gilbarco service teams to ensure delivery requirements. This role will ensure outstanding field and remote service for Gilbarco e-Mobility connected hardware products (DCFC & L2 chargers) leveraging Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s network of service providers, software tools, and relationships with equipment vendors. Additionally, this role will help execute e-Mobility service and maintenance contracts.

• Be the technical support expert for e-Mobility hardware deployments.

• Work with GVR service organization and service contractors to coordinate pre-install site surveys, installation and commissioning.

• Be the single point of contact for incoming field issues and work with GVR service organization, hardware suppliers and GVR service contractors to resolve field issues.

• Coordinate processing of in-warranty claims and out of warranty work using GVR Service management systems and broader GVR service organization.

• Knowledge of product line to answer customer questions and support service and parts transactions associated with service of the EV Charging products.

• Assist in developing training content for deployment to field technicians.

• Coordinate and make available parts needed to fix issues or to meet specific SLAs with customers.

• Manage and coordinate availability of SIM cards for connectivity enabled hardware deployments.

• Track and report on a periodic basis all active issues till resolution

• Provide feedback to product management on repeat/ chronic issues that need resolution with suppliers.

• Identifying improvements to systems and/or processes utilizing the Vontier Business System (VBS) tools.

• Use standard operating procedures (SOPs) for successful operations of the function

• Execute to role relevant safety, quality, delivery and inventory KPIs.

• Gilbarco Veeder-Root (GVR) requires that all employees comply with the GVR Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy, as well as the Vontier Code of Conduct.

• Experience in technical support of engineered B2B products. E-Mobility Charging products preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills – the ability to analyze situations with limited data and provide reasonable solutions leading to high customer satisfaction.

• Goal focused, reputation for delivery, passion for service excellence.

• Effective time management, planning, organization, tracking and follow-up to ensure customers and/or assignments are resolved and/or responded to in a timely manner.

• Experience managing work through field technicians.

• Highly organized, with the ability to effectively manage the impact of competing priorities and tasks and coordinating multiple stakeholders to resolve complex issues.

• Independent problem solving and decision making.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with effective customer facing skills.

• Minimum Bachelors’ degree

• Minimum 5 years of service delivery

The base compensation range for this position is $77K to $90K per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
