JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Advanced Analytics II runs and manages a team that provides advanced analytics and reporting services to stakeholders across the organization; has responsibility for planning, organizing, and managing analytics and reporting efforts to produce valuable insights from our data to help improve the utilization of our services and the quality of the organization. This position works closely with stakeholders to build, manage, and enhance relationships. The Manager of Advanced Analytics II has responsibility for developing, managing improvement, and compliance to standards, policies and processes set by the analytics department to achieve consistent, quality reporting to meet overall clinical and business needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

  • Serves as a credible advisor to EDA leaders, client stakeholders and domain executives to help advance, implement, and achieve analytic department goals and desired outcomes, providing practical and relevant ideas and insights.

  • Runs, and coaches a team of analytics staff.

  • Accountable for ensuring staff appropriately defines, documents, develops, and delivers their work in a timely manner.

  • Proactively identifies issues and defines initiative for remediation.

  • Creates domain portfolios with analytic leadership and service line owner, meeting standards and expectations provided by analytic leadership.

  • Accountable for organization, prioritization, and management of healthcare domain deliverables utilizing agile methodologies to manage and maintain tracking of projects.

  • Accountable for developing and executing project plans that are large or enterprise-wide in scale with high complexity on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Drive processes and testing toward automation and self-service utilization of analytic products.

  • Partners with business, technology, and functional healthcare team members to ensure that analytic requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and implied as part of operational prioritization and planning. Measures outcomes of activities to ensure expectations are met.

  • Assist domain run in goal planning and financial planning.

  • Establishes relationships with vendors to drive activity, deliver updates, resolve issues and manage the product lifecycles and upgrades. Consistently identifies, defines and implements opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide progress reports to management and manage domain roadmap.

  • Accountable and accountable for managing work and projects of self and others, demonstrating management abilities to maintain momentum and move work forward, managing reporting on all projects.

  • Produces superior work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and expectations for quality. Effectively redefining deadlines when necessary and communicating changes to manage expectations.

  • Applies and continuously improves subject matter expertise in project management, data governance, data analytics, or analytic development within a healthcare environment.

  • Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.

SALARY

The pay range for this position is $69.05/hour (entry-level qualifications) $90.25/hour (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.

  • Experience in a healthcare organization presenting to all levels of management

  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, systematic and problem-solving skills are required.

  • Exceptional leadership skills, ability to manage teams

  • Proficient in project management

  • Proficient in Agile methodologies

  • MS Office Suite Proficient Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Project, and Outlook

  • Demonstrated strengths working in a dynamic, ambiguous, and everchanging work environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • EXPERIENCE - 7 Years of Experience
