Summary:

The Specialized Software Leadership Recruiting Team (SpecSwe Leadership) at Facebook supports leadership hiring for niche software needs particularly in topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI Research, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Reinforced Learning), Augmented and Virtual Reality (Device Operating Systems, Graphics, Audio, Gameplay, Wearables) and AI and General Compilers. The SpecSwe Leadership team is designed to evolve coverage to the most unique Software Leadership needs at Facebook and requires a Specialized Leadership Recruiter who is agile and able to directly source leadership as well as close candidates all while navigating a cross functional recruiting system.As a member of the SpecSwe Leadership Recruiting Team, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers and generalist sourcers to develop strategies needed to engage top talent globally. As a Specialized Leadership Recruiter you will drive discussions on scaled hiring strategies and identifying areas to ensure the best candidate experience for end to end hiring. In this role, you will also develop cross functional partnerships at scale.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage full cycle recruiting for multiple complex searches, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role

  2. Develop and execute fully comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches

  3. Create research strategy for talent pooling, market mapping and competitor analysis

  4. Collaborate with the business throughout the recruitment process to ensure goals and objectives are met

  5. Leverage data to influence change management as needed to land hiring targets

  6. Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders internally

  7. Own the offer process from extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years technical recruiting experience, including full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing

  2. Experience with sourcing and primary research (talent/market mapping in particular) as well as engaging and activating passive candidates

  3. Experience with candidate care and balancing process with candidate experience

  4. Experience working with recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques and software collaboration tools

  5. Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams

  6. Experience influencing to drive results

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Executive/Leadership hiring with a strong sourcing foundation

  2. Experience hiring in the software stack or in AI
