Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to support their Nuclear group. They will be responsible for doing mechanical design for Nuclear Power Plants. The design will include P&ID, piping layouts, tank design, vessel design, single-phase, two-phase, motor design, ducting design, pumps, fans, 3D modeling, etc. Additionally, they will conduct site walk-downs, equipment specifications, and direct overall project design and design documentation. They will assist in project proposals regarding scope, schedules, and budgets. Projects that this team typically works on are for upgrades/modifications to equipment in an existing nuclear plant, so the engineer will also assist with identifying potential upgrades and make suggestions on new equipment to be installed/designed.

Skills and Requirements

-8-10 Years of direct experience doing mechanical design for nuclear plants and facilities

• Project management exp

• Ability to travel up to 25%

• Bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering -PE License null
