is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 2 to oversee student dining!

We are in search of our next “Magic Maker” at the following location:

SodexoMAGIC is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager 2 for Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. The campus is located in the capital city of Mississippi. The Food Operations Manager 2 will oversee the dining operations for the 2nd shift. This position will primarily be an evening position working the hours of 2pm-midnight.

• develop strategic plans;

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;

• have 2 - 4 years management experience in a multi-unit high volume dining - Retail or Concessions a Plus;

• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;

• demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficiency in computer skills/report management; and

• have a valid driver's license - is required.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
