Summary:

 Administers an effective post-closing annual credit review function which includes analysis of credit data and financial statements of individuals and/or firms to determine the degree of risk involved and oversees daily management support of covenant compliance test and desk top monitoring of borrowing base certificates.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs annual reviews on credit relationships of $2,500,000 and greater. Identifies and analyzes areas of potential risk to the assets, earning capacity, or success of organization (including but not limited to more complex credits). Gathers risk-related data from internal or external resources to analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved. Manages and monitors loan agreements processes for accuracy and deviations with regards to the approved CAS/ACAS and ensures that any deviations are properly approved / amended / modified. Manages and monitors the loan agreement covenant compliance monitoring system processes for reviewing and interpreting financial statements, tax returns, and supporting schedules for covenant testing for commercial borrowers and/or guarantors based on the loan agreement. Manages and monitors the procedures for determining if covenant violations exist and resolving proper waiver or action for the violations. Manages and monitors Borrowing Base Certificates processes to determine compliance within respective loan agreement funding definitions; proper tracking and uploading of documentation; adjustment of line availability; reporting of collateral short falls to ensure shortfalls are cured. Assists relationship managers in assessing covenants and monitoring procedures. Monitor and Maintains Compliance with related SOX Controls. Manages and monitors the Asset Based field audit exam process on pre-funding and predetermined time schedules. Consults with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers to make recommendations on risk ratings. Develops and implements policies and procedures that will ensure the effectiveness and productivity of the Credit Risk Review Department. Administers the tracking of policy exceptions in IBS that are identified on the approved CAS. Assists Credit Risk Management Department as needed to carry out objectives.

: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, Accounting or Finance degree preferred; ten or more years credit experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
