Robert Half is partnering with one of their well-established global manufacturing clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Accounting Manager. This role involves maintaining precise financial records, performing various accounting duties, and communicating with stakeholders about financial matters.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold accurate and current financial records

• Conduct various types of financial analysis

• Assist in month-end closing, including the preparation and posting of accrual journal entries

• Aid in the creation of monthly financial statements and reports

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations

• Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters

• Support in the creation of weekly flash, quarterly forecast, and annual budget

• Assist with the annual audit package

• Carry out additional duties as assigned

• Comply with IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards

• Supervise Reception/AP employee

• Work in compliance with all legislative requirements of MIOSHA.

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

• Must be highly proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Must have a deep understanding and experience in Accounting Functions

• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and financial analysis
