Help building landscaping maintenance, esthetics and cleanliness, identify and report wear and tear and perform other basic janitorial work.
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Repair/install/replace/clean/paint fixtures, hardware, walls, flooring, ceiling tile/grid, doors, windows and surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum building floors, and gather and empty trash. This includes carrying the vacuum and any other cleaning supplies needed up and down stairs.
- Service, clean, and resupply restrooms, dust, clean and polish furniture and fixtures, windows, blinds, glass partitions, and mirrors, furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Clear rubbish, debris and weeds from grounds.
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies any of which can weigh more than 50 pounds, either manually or by using hand trucks.
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using a snow blower and snow shovel and spreading snow melting chemicals.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Be watchful for and identify wear and tear or other damage and immediately report it to the supervisor or VP Operation and perform other duties as assigned.
- Figure out and do what it takes to solve routine hinderances related to basic job functions.
- Perform all job functions within the guidelines of OSHA and applicable building codes.
